     The town beach is sheltered and lined in 
crisp white sand. A stunning surf  break 
stretches across the mouth of the bay. 
The local jetty is a favourite of fishing folk 
and sunset watchers. To the north and south 
of town the majestic clffs are battered by 
the swell of the deep blue ocean. The 
coastline is peppered with small secluded 
bays and long sandy beaches.
   The Township is a bustling local 
administrative centre. It is relaxed, 
friendly with a village atmosphere. Elliston 
provides residents and visitors with 
2 caravan parks, school, police station, 
hospital, hotel, bakery, fuel, hardware 
and general store.
   Local Industry is traditionaly farming 
and fishing. The new kids on the block are 
mining and aquaculture.
